Ok, so, I got PSMplay and extracted the opening music..and..it's not enough!! I need the battle-songs, and especially the junk shop guy's theme!! Good god you don't know how many times i say "Deee-stroy!" in my day and follow it with a weird beat. If anyone knows a way to get that music (cause they are .DAT files it appears) Please let me know, I can be contacted via dukeofpants@yahoo.com Thanks, and I hope i will soon be able to hear this wonderful music.

Well, I know that you can get a remix of the normal battle music on Kazaa...I wish I could find the music too. I miss the game, its not in the video rental store anymore...

Well, I do have Mp3s of some of the battle songs. If I remember right, I have the one for the babies, the champions, and the final battles. Email me to get in contact on instant messaging if you want the songs. I'm looking for them myself.

Let's see...if I remember correctly, I have 13 tracks from the game:

The intro movie
Three victory/defeat musics
Eight battle tracks
The music when your dragon becomes champion

I've also been trying to get the other music from the game, but as of yet I haven't had any success.

Sweet jesus, is there any way I could get some of them!? I'm looking particularly for Ishuka the Junk Shop Guy's theme, and the one battle theme where it has a guy in the background saying something like "If counter measures can be made, before actual somethingsomething takes place...then the world will be saved" and then towards the end of the battle time he says "Time is running out..for the earth." *sigh* I so must get these musics.

There is a way to scan the .DAT files on the CD to see if they are music (I'm guessing the files in SND/BGM have the music you want). The program is called XAEX. You can find it at http://www.zophar.net/utilities/psxutil.html

I would try it but it doesn't work under Windows XP since the program is for a DOS based OS like Windows 95 or 98. So, if possible, I would suggest trying that program out to see if those .DAT files are music, and if they are then download XA2WAV (which is found at the same place) to convert them into .WAV files.

Since I can't use that program I'm going to try another way that I think might work, if successful I'll tell you as well as share the music.

It seems my idea worked, very well. I now have the Junkman's music as well as the ability to get any track and sound on the game. If you want a a music track just email me at eric86@charter.net I'm always willing to help Dragon Seed fans.

How I Did It

Just in case you wanted to know I took the two audio cables that come out of the back of the Playstation, then I used a converter plug that allows you to put the cables in the back ports on your computer (ie - Speakers, Line-in, Microphone).

I put the cables into the Line-In port (since it has the best sound quality; it allows the music to be at CD quality. Don't put it into the Micrphone port, it will work but the sound is horrible.). I then used MusicMatch Jukebox Pro to record the music and that's it!!

Ok, i seriously found THE best way to get files from Dragonseeds. its a prgram called PSX Multi conversion tool.

simple put the cd into CD rom, (any game works) and hit "Open and analyze CD" and presto gives u a list of all the songs AND sounds (and some pics) and u can convert them all or just a few.
