1)Steal an apple from a goo king
2)Kill him off QUICKLY 3)Pray to the almighty bof3 king of luck, Shazanoo, that you get a goo king sword. Rinse, then repeat 100 times. After that do it 50 more times. Once thats done, you now have a slight chance of getting a goo king sword.But only if you fight a couple more goo kings =p | |

The information about the GooKingSword is correct... You can get one if you defeat a Goo King. But you must be extreemly lucky. And it's the best sword Ryu can equip as far as I know

Is it more powerful than the royal sword? I think the Royal Sword has like 150-160 attack power.

Ok. I found a beast, and it killed me! If you steal a apple from it, it gets PO'ed and uses Sirocco, Ragnarok, Tornado, and Charge! It was unbelievable! They are tough! I beat the final boss, and this monster is almost as tough. The only thing that tops it is the Archmage and Berserker at Container Yard... But geez, they are hard! Too mean of attacks, and too much HP! Oh well, better keep playing. Number of slain Goo Kings: 4

To be honest, the very easiest way to defeat the gooking is to enter the battle, have rei cast pilfer, and have ryu change into the Force dragon (Force gene only), then thats you pretty much won the fight... Cast "Aura" and you will do around 1800 damage 9/10 times.
Tip: For 15,000 EXP, enter the battle with rei, and your other character at only 1 hp. Usually the gooking will use an AoE spell (Area of effect) which will hit all members of the team, killing everyone but ryu. | |

I find it easier to get the Goo King Sword if you knock the health of a Goo King almost all the way until he dies, then use pilfer.
