This forum should stick mostly to the Mario series, but a small amount of off-topic threads can be made. That's my suggestion.

Well, it was Lykerok's suggestion, so he can make it if he wants to. I think clarification on what this forum is would be great; if it can be somewhat similar to social forums, then I can see this being a great little community. However, if we keep to the strict "every thread discusses Mario" way of doing things, then I fear we will run out of things to say soon enough. We're already struggling somewhat, making threads that are loosely based upon Mario.

Got another game thread made from a guest.

Think we could include some sort of text in the posting screens saying "If you are making a game thread, check with our mod. If you don't, we will hunt you down and use our fire flowers!"

That might help teach the guests that the thread has to be approved first.

Do you mean something along the lines of what happens with the Music Forum header? But where would the discussion be?

I think the way it's going now is working alright. Gotenks knows a lot about the Mario series, and he can generally pick a good character to put up. I think simply posting an idea for a character or game of the month in this thread would probably be enough to get it made.
