So i used to play monster rancher 2 all the time and i loved it. Eventually i sold them game. Now i want to start playing again. Should i get #2 or are the newer versions much better? thanks

yes there are better monsters than some but u should get a new monster rancher game if u have a PS2 becuase only 1 & 2 are for play stasion and now there r better games such as # 3, 4 , and evo but for monster randcher the best monster is the grim reaper

You cant get Grim reaper in ANY of the MR's. You're thinking of a ghost in any monster rancher, or a joker in monster rancher 4.

Monster rancher 4 is quite logically best, but it has a con. Unfortunatly for the con, it is overridden by pro's. The con is rather embarrasing too. The con is that monster rancher 4 has less monsters to raise than monster rancher 1 does . but monster rancher 4 is better. Here on this site is a video for you to watch, its only small.

Personally I liked 1 the best, but I guess I'm old school. I played it when it first came out and watched the tv show for days.
