Right I’ve completed this game epically of times and done it on DMD mode but on normal, hard and DMD mode, the secret mission “The 3 Beasts” fails to even appear.

I go into that room with the plain and nothing happens and the strange thing is I’ve done this on easy and I past the mission ages ago. But every time I attempt this on the other modes it just never works.

Dose anyone else have this problem and does anyone have a solution to it. By the way I’ve done all the mission apart from this one and I’ve checked the disc for scratches .

According to my research you have to do this mission after defeating the Shadow (or Death Scissors) in the statue of the fountain room, right after you beat or run away from Phantom at the start of the level. If that's the case, try going back and doing it right after you beat that creature, and good luck with getting it to trigger .

Well, I'm stumped then , I mean you can't even get to normal without starting a new save as easy just loops over and over, so, yeah, that's just bizarre , and annoying I imagine, sorry I couldn't help .

There are 3 secret missions where you need to fight multiple Shadows. The first is after you destroy the statue and fight the first Shadow. Thats when you go to the underground chamber and fight the trio.

The second mission is after the start of mission 15; going back to the corridor filled with spikes.

The third is after you return to the castle, after you fight Nightmare for the first time. You need to hunt down the Shadows. 2 are in the plane room (on top of the right wing). There is another in the main hall where a blue orb fragment sat at the beginning of the game. The last is in the porticullis, where you entered/exited the garden.

Yeah, I’ve done all that – theirs only one mission left and that’s the three beasts and if I decide to start the game again from scratch I’m not terribly looking forward to doing the very first secret mission again.

Anyway I may just have to face facts that I will never be able to get this mission to even start up, basically I must have a dude version of the game or something.

Hey im having the a similar problem too and somehow i cant trigger the 3 beasts secret mission.
The thing is i killed the statue shadow but then i went further to putting the death sentence in the statue, then i realized i missed going back to the airplane rooms basement.
But luckily i went back and it still worked and i tried but i died.. and i had to use my yellow stone but when i try ot go back there again its just puppets...
Do you only get one chance to do this secret mission cause if i have to restart mission 4 again ill be pretty fustrated.
