actually valve meant fbe a secret they dont even know thats the point.... there are so many theories but this is the most absurd one :gman is gordon freemans father/ gordon in the future

well, thats not true. at the end of a game if u refuse his offer he kills you. if it were himself that would be sadistic. so noone really knows. o yea btw: nihilanth says "He is not man. you are man. for you he waits. for you..." people thinks he means gman. also in the pc version if u die everything turns black for a few seconds. in those few seconds if u do impulse 101 to get weapons the shots make some things light up. when u do that you see gman right in front of you staring at you. hes always watching. in ravenholm when you look through the window you see gman in the next house staring at you through the window for a wplit second then he just quicly looks away. if you noclip into a room where he is or on a platform, if you start shooting at him a clanging metal sound and sparks come out.

gman obviously isnt a robot because he does humanlike things but hes obviously not a human.he could be anything...

Of course Valve knows who the gman is, trouble is they choose not to say much of it, thanks Doug Lombardi! lol Yeah I agree about the Gordon Freeman is Gman or his father is complete crap, why would the Gman offer Gordon a battle he couldn't win? The Gman would die himself wouldn't he if he chose to fight.

But the fact that he could offer the fight in the first place means that he did not accept.
Still, I believe that theory is incorrect.
