A hard drive? How can a PS2 have a hard drive? Maybe you're referring to a PS3?

quote BradenNo, the PS3 has an internal hard drive raging from 20 to 80 gb of memory. Although the 20gb PS3s are rare as hell these days. ------------------- ![]() "Rock and you shall recieve"

quote PedigreeYou DO know that the PS2 (original boxy one) has an optional HDD right? 20GB I believe....It was introduced primarily because of Final Fantasy XI (even comes bundled with it installed, in some cases, I think)....It required an ethernet adapter though, to play games online. It also doubled as a save location (though I would think some games wouldn't recognize it).... Anyhow, the question in the topic has pretty much been covered? Though the person might want to buy a game, to make use of the console ^_~ Well, providing it even works >_> -------------------

I actually own a PS2 HDD. As Tallteen said, it was mainly for FFXI online....though there were a couple of games you could download extras for. It was a peripheral that was never utilized fully and died quickly. Mainly because they came out with the slim PS2's which weren't capable of supporting the fat bastard. ------------------- ![]() LMFAO SWEET!!!! Another trophy! On Pre-order: LBP and SOCOM
