My favorite is GTA San Andreas. It is in my opinion the best PS2 game ever.

My opinion might change since i have a few more SMT games to finish.

But so far

Persona 4 is easily the best game on the PS2 so far.

so far my favorate is either bully or MGS2 sons of liberty. but it might change

I'm still building up my library, but I find Okami to be my favorite game so far. I haven't finished it yet; I'm more than halfway through the game. Good stuff.

Okami is a amazing game, i got about three quarters of the way through and stopped playing it a few month ago, i need to go back and finish it off.

I agree, SolstICE. FFX-2 was absolutely amazing!!!! I love all the FF games. I don't have a favorite. Everyobdy should get them all.

I p/x'ed my ps2 with about 25 games when the ps3 40gig came out, but the 40 Gig is not backwards compatible. I tought this wouldn't matter as I would not want to play ps2 games anymore, but a few weeks ago, I bought a pre-owned slimline for £36 + 3 old ps3 games, for the sole reason of playing San Andreas. Here is my top 5.

1.San Andreas
2.Need for Speed Underground2
3.Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
4.Tony Hawks American wasteland
5.DefJam Fight for New York.

Both of the Maximo games (Ghosts to Glory and VS The Army of Zin), Mark of Kri, Champions of Norrath, Yakuza and Jak 3 are some of the very best PS2 games out there.

A few honorable mentions: GTA: San Andreas, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, Shadow of the Colossus and Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.
