I had the same problem a while back. Kind of sucked for me, cause my cousin was coming over, and my PS2 wasn't working.. And I really wanted to play some double player games with him. Turns out, we didn't get to

I fixed it already! The problem was a loose in connectivity somewhere northwest the Laser.
