seeing that Sony have managed to reduce the cost of European PS2s and with a further pricedrop expected sometime before the release of the Xbox in Europe, its obvious that Sony are finding shortcuts and more cost effective ways of mass producing their unshiny black-box of cuteness and still make profit off each unit sold (obviously). That said, I can't imagine it taking so long as to mass produce it (as it is only 16 PS2s) though I doubt its meant to be a console, more a dedicated peice of kit to... do something. Graphics? I'm not so sure myself, as I've only read the specs. I'm guessing its something that'll be used within Sony's next console though. Also, Sony have made a CPU of sorts in partnership with... someone. And that was a while back. Nicely vague, isn't it?
