What are your favorite weapon combinations on weapon edit mode? I like to use the tail-back, ripple, force field, and the straight shot for my bombs, along with the spacing formation for my multiples.

I usually just use Type 1 default. If I'm going for maximum cheesy might, I use the Type 1 option formation, ripple laser, spread bomb and vertical guns.

I like to stick to Gradius II style weapons, here are my favorites to have.

1. Ripple type laser
2. Two-way Missle
3. Revolving Options
4. Photon Torpedos
5. Force Field

Force field is very useful for me, even if it requires about 7 power ups to obtain, its worth it. Get hit 5 times, and then it disappears, since sadly in this game, you die in one hit.
