I heard that Barry Bonds isnt in the game because he is not part of the MLBPA (Major League Baseball Players Assosiation [sp?]) that is the reason why he is not in the game.

My opinion on that is because he is such a rich guy and he wants to be different than everyone else. Personally im glad hes not in it because thats one less power bat we have to worry about since the Giants are in our division because I am a San Diego Padres fan and in the game i play season and we play the giants a handfull of times so there thats what i think

well as a 100% padre fan myself being from SD and all I have to say that phil nevin is a very good power hitter lol

as for marquis grissom in real life he has hit some hr's against us and he is a prety good hitter in real life

My opinion to cool off the hot bats of the dodgers ( and in your case the padres ) you should constantly hit them with hard stuff low and away and then go for the fastball kill high and tight or the curve ball inside * it allways works for me * haha well gl on your team aight (ps i have nothen against the dodgers i think they are a very good team with very good players)

Bonds is not in the game becasue he chose to make his own contacts outside the MLB players association. HOWEVER, if you make a left hitting left fielder with max contact and power and not great feilding and name him BARRY BONDS, the game announcers will call him "Bonds". The only real problem with this is that you don't get the AMAZING hits to right field that would would expect with Barry, but it's still basically like having him on your team.
