If you're wondering about getting this but aren't sure, its like Resident Evil to look at but its a point and click, don't worry about needing a mouse though, it works fine on the dual shock.
The story is set in a 1920s mansion in Japan, where a murder has occurred, it is your job to solve the mystery before the murder count gets out of hand. The gameplay consists of clicking on items that may be relevent and talking to people. In conversations you have to highlight key words which may get you leads, sometimes the only way to progress is to read peoples minds which drains your mental strength so you only use this when essential. I found it best to save, then try reading peoples minds on various words then reload after discovering the right word. The lack of adrenalin packed action in this game won't suit everyone but I found it very immersive and the story is full of intrigue. Also, disregard magazine articles that criticise it for bad acting and such, those writers obviously don't get the humour. (Think Poirot meets Acorn Antiques.)

This is the worst game Capcom have ever produced and possibly the worst game on PS2. Don't be fooled by the above post, it really is a pile of crap. The most boring, pointless game ever. The voice acting and script are pathetic. Humour? No, there is no humour, of any kind, just a futile sense that you could be playing a game that's actually fun instead of wasting your time on this.

DO NOT RENT, BUY OR PLAY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT. SERIOUSLY.
