I think it'd fit more into the general style of GC, but I don't see how it would be the same. One of the main deals about the game was the whole dual stick controller thingy... GC doesn't really feature that (unless you count the c-stick). Who knows.

I wonder if the story for Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy is just going to be "The King Of All Cosmos destroyed all the stars AGAIN."...knowing the original's insane sense of humor, I wouldn't be all that surprised. x_x
