your all probably gonna laugh at me now, but can anyone tell me how to jump the pier at sebastian.

i have done it once but it was pure fluke, and even that took me ages. im now on the antarctica levels and have completed everything up to this point, but the only thing bugging me is that i didnt jump that bloody pier properly!

NOPE. annoying isnt it. all i can say (which is probably gonna annoy you even more) is that i just kept doing it and doing it intill i fluked it. never been able to do it since. sorry

no offense but that is the easiest objective on the whole frekon game i did that on the first day i got da game and have done it more since

No friggen offence but it's the only thing I can't do. Feel free to share since you know how!

just make sure when u jump u jump close to the barrel and on about a 20 degree angle away from the tube
its best 2 be riding along side the tube just before it then cut back into the wave and jump
the 2nd camera angle helps 2
if all else fails just start a career with some 1 with good air

Cheers. Bummer, it is pretty much what I keep trying. I seem to get half way over the pier then land smack in the middle of it every time. Will just keep ploughing through....

it sounds like you're not on a steep enough angle away from the tube
spinning can also help aas it can extend the distance of the jump

JUMP THE PIER - NO PROBLEM

I find success in the following

* Looking at the wave, you need to hit the wave at 10 O'clock (12 being vertical).

* Hit the lip with speed.

* you cannot do it off the unbroken part of the wave, you need to hit the area before the breaking tube to get the height

* I find it easist to ride off the wave (flat area between the breaking wave and the beach). push the stick forward to get the speed and turn up in front of the tube to an angle of near 10 oclock.

* Doing it like this also gives you a better perspective of the pier and breaking wave which helps your timing.

* timing and speed are everything

After messing for ages, I just used a different technique that will make you jump the pier (three piers, if needed ;-) Just before you get near the pier, get in the tube. Hit the green button to gain speed and get out of the tube. Then just jump the pier. Easy ! :)
