does anyone have any cheats for star wars : supremacy please

Im sorry but i dont believe there are any. If your a beginner youll just have to play in a small galaxy on the easyest setting as the empire and gain knowlege and skill the old fassion way. Sorry

What? No cheats? Such blasphamy! There is in fact a way to cheat- it's called RebED. Stands for Rebellion Editor. It was released on the SWR site (At the moment we are, unfortunately, closed for repairs... Evaders seems to have deleted something...)
At any rate, the program allows you to edit character stats, ship stats, build times, unit stats, pictures for everything, audio- everything. It can even make the game harder. There's a link for RebED in the topic above this one... Or beneath, as the case may be... I think it's Rebellion-DOT-com

I remember there being some cheats involving changin gthe names of ships so as to generate new ones but i don't remember the details.
