In the third stage, where you have a limited amount of time to hide evidence before the cop busts down your door, I can't seem to do anything. I covered the bed sheets, what else is there to do?

There is a bloody shirt behind the nearest pillar to you that you need to throw into the washing machine in the bathroom. That was all that I did. I did not worry about the bedsheets, because I lied and said I had a naked woman in there.

If you watch TV before the cop gets there, you'll get an action sequence that if done successfully will give you a premonition of the cop coming. It then shows the clothing near the door and the bed spread ... it's kinda a warning for you so you know what to do in order to not get busted. The downside to watching TV is that you lose either 10 or 20 mental points due to the news story that's on. It's not too bad though, because you'll get 10 back after the cop leaves anyway.

And I never knew about the naked lady bit .. I've always covered the bloody sheets. I love the wide range of things that can happen throughout the game depending on choices made.
