I have a problem. I have just seen Carnby go down the rope. What now?? I can't seem to find where he climbed down. Any ideas? I am getting tired of running out of flask health and getting bitten if you know what I mean.

First off, this is the Alone In The Dark 2 forum, so any further questions you have about Alone In The Dark 4 should be posted in the appropriate forum, but I have no problem helping you out though.

Second, I need a bit more clarification on the problem you're having. You say you saw Carnby go down the rope in the World of Darkness? Don't you mean you saw Alan Morton go down the rope? Because I don't recall any section of the game where Carnby climbs down a rope.

Third, if it is Alan you're talking about, then you're playing Aline Cedrac's half of the adventure, right? If so, you need to get back down to the stone bridge you saw him go down. Then, approach the rock where the rope is tied on the left side of the bridge. Press the action button (X) to climb down.

I have same problem as listed by Kent--I can see the rope
by the rock but cant get Aline to go close enough to trigger
the message "do you want to climb down?" Can anyone help
me?
