Vorador??! |
|
Vorador "takes part" in BO2, while Kain has seen him die about two centuries ago, with his own eyes, didn't he?

One possible reason
Soul Reaver 2 started messing around with time and time streaming. So......... in soul reaver 2, history was re written due to the actions of Raziel and Kain and therefore the BO2 timeline is different from the BO1 timeline. In BO2, Vorador was never executed........hmmmmmm, sorry - all I got.

Never played BO1. But, in soul reaver 2, they ignored Vorador, and concentrated on Raziel. and therefore vorador was able to evade punishment. that whole time spanning thing messed witha lot. but anyway thats my read into it.

Blood Omen 2 is a result of the ending to Soul Reaver 2. History is rewritten, Vorrador dosen't die and other vampires live too.

re: Vorador??! |
quote scissor woman That cant be right. The Sarafan Holy war against the Vampires had to take place, otherwise Vorador would not have taken his revenge on the Circle of 9. Malek would not have failed the circle, and therefore would have died as a mortal, not having his spirit fused to his armor in punishment. Also, in the first meeting of Kain and Vorador in BO2, listen closely. "Vorador. The Reformed sado-hedonist of Termogent forest. Who else but the father of Vampires could lead the resistance?" "The sarafan thought they had destroyed us once, but you proved them wrong. You created an entire race of vampires, something I could never do. And from that race, I had my army." So, the Sarafan Vampire purge happened, its just that somehow, Vorador was either saved from execution, or resurrected. And then he created a new race of Vampires by himself, gaining the title "The father of vampires".

Vorador has been ressurected. Kain even says so himself.
He says something like "Do you wish to return to the grave?" -------------------

In BO1 you also go back in time and witness the death of Vorador. Yet Vorador is alive in BO1 even at the end of it.
Dont forget the circle of 9 had a necromancer in their ranks, very possible he had something to do with all of this. And with Kain becoming the keeper of balance he would also have a hand in who lives and dies.

quote The StingerYou are confusing the Serefan holy war against vampires with the purge of vampires that Mobeus lead decades later. 1) Serefan holy war: -Malack and others Serefan warrior priests started a big war against vampires which provoked Vorador to kill a few circle members. 2) Vampire purge: -Mobeus organized a big angry mob of peasants that killed a bunch of vampires and eventually Vorador. These where similar in a sense... but very separate events. Soul Reaver 2 screwed with number 2, but I guess it left number 1 more or less alone.

re: Vorador??! |
quote RomSlight confusion, Vorador is not killed in the past, he is killed in the present right after you finished traveling back in time to kill William the Just. It was Kain's murder of William the Just, who was still seen as a good man back than that helped Mobeus organized the vampire purge. In Soul Reaver 2 Raziel distracted the vampire purge away from Vorador which is why he survived if I'm not mistaken. No resurrection was necessary.
