Will you be getting this game? |
|
Well I liked this one for SNES and I can hardly wait to see the changes they made. I am glad to see they are remaking the old FF games too bad they are not coming to America. I will still play of course hehe.

Yo, this game isn't the one you played back in the day, unless you had the japanese version or an emulator.
Do not confuse this game with the FF2 game that came out in amreica for the SNES. That was really FF4 for the Japan market, this game will be FF2 for the japan market. This game came out for the NES. You can play this game with a computer and a NES emulator, but keeping the game for more than 24 hours is illegal, unless you own the game. So you can download it and play it for the first 24 hours like a try before you buy with no laws broken. I reccomend the try before you buy on this game, becuase it is like no other Final Fantasy ever created before(or after). You do not have character classes like monk, fighter, black wizard, etc. You do not gain levels. Instead you improve on what you need, and lose what you do not need. If you give your character a sword, he will get good at sword fighting, no weapon, fine, he will improve at no weapon. If you do a lot of attacking, your strength will improve. If you are taking a lot of physical damage, your Max HP will improve and your Vitiality will improve. Use a spell alot(which you must buy) and that spell will get stronger. I call it the Dragonball system, because intense training results in intense improvement. You improve your characters quicker if they are pushed to their limits. Squaresoft were trying out a new battle system, and since it was not ever used again, it was a failure more than a success. And because the game didn't have high enough sales, it was never release in the US. So I HIGHLY reccomend trying before you buy with emulators. ------------------- "Money isn't everything, but everything makes me want it." ~De La Soul | |
