I'm doing some mission thing on the internet and one of the questions are "Where do Chocobos originate from?" So come on help a guy out.

Chocobos were introduced in FF4 because the series needed a cute, 'chibi-like' addition. They were originally just storage options (Fat Chocobo) and to ride. FF5 Had a chocobo as a semi-main character (Boko, and the name has stuck) and FF6 had them as mounts again. FF7 was a revolution in that they actually had a fully-fledged Chocobo mini-game, namely Chocobo racing. FF8 had a less-fun minigame which involved Chocobos finding their babies, until you originally get to Chocobo Paradise. FF9 had a treasure hunting mini-game, 'Chocobo Hot and Cold', and FF10 had them as mounts, and as a more restricted racing mini-game. FF X-2 had another type of treasure hunting mini-game... hope this helps!

No...Im doing something online also about the game and he means like where (what place) do they come from, because it asks what version of the game were they first introduced and thats 2 but now i also need to know where they came from

they do come from the chocobo forest

they don't come from any particular land because none of the final fantasy's even take place in the same world. so the onl place you could say they originate from would be a chocobo forest.
