If you think that's funny, try an all monk team. You'll need to stock up on plenty of curative items, but it's easy on the wallet. Just like an all black mage team, they seem weak at first, but later on in the game, everybody should think twice before fighting you.

yeah all monk party is a good one.... they all have great attacks..... but its not that very expensive to buy some curative items because they do not need that many....

Actually, the best party (IMO) would consist of two monks and two black mages. The black mages cast haste on the two monks, and when they're at a high level, they'll be dealing out about 8 hits per turn anyway, so instead they'll be dealing about 16 hits or so. Great against the fiends of chaos (both forms) and Chaos/Garland himself.
