I just started final fantasy 2 and I have been running around in circles. Getting into battle after battle.Fighting Goblins,Hornets and Stranglers. And I dont wander off because of those invincible monsters. Am I supposed to find the canoe and go to Panloom or whatever its called? If so where do I find the canoe? Do I go to fynn? If so What do I do When I get There?
I cant beat any of the imperial soldiers there. They dont take any damage and have crazy high attack power. Same with the invincible monsters.Like the WereWolf, The turtle with the spikes on its back(I forget the name of it).the Zombies. And the blue orge that Knows Ice 5. You know the monsters that do around 300 damage and every time you attack them it doesnt do any damage.

ok, to get the canoe, you first level up A LOT! my suggestion is to level up ur hp, have your characters atk each other until their hp is red (dont dual equip, they might die) until there have around 500-600 hp (it will take a while) and to level up your weapons, with firion select attack, choose enemy, cancel, repeat about 100 times (this will also take a while) then do the same with maria. you cant do this with gus (there is no 4th person YET) once your levels are about 6-9 (a while AGAIN) go to fynn (DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE EVER!!!) then you go north the the trees (up almost out of fynn) hug the trees and go right (east) until you hit the end of the wall, follow the wall and go int the PUB you will see. when you get to the PUB, talk to the bartender and mention WILD ROSE (PLEASE MEMORIZE IT FIRST!) then go into the wall, follow the path, and talk to the soldier, again, mention WILD ROSE he will give you the RING go and give it to HILDA (rebel leader) she will tell Mindu to go with you (now you can level up Gus as much as you want!) then (if havent already) go to the magic shop and buy 3 of every spell (all that training SHOULD give you enough money) give one of each to everyone! train Firion with whatever spell you choose (i chose bolt and its level 6 or 7 now) and train Maria with Cure first (till level 8 or 9) then train her with everything else (to train magic, do the same with weapons, shouldnt take long) you also have the canoe now. go to fynn and talk to ONE soldier. have Mindu use the spell SWAP on the captain. then use HARDCORE MAGIC ON HIM (ice and fire work rather well HINT HINT) he drops lots of money and the golden mail (REALLY GOOD ARMOR) and the Flame Bow (GIVE TO MARIA IMMEDIATELY! i di and i replaced her weapon ONCE and that was a little over halfway through the game) repeat until desired stats then go to paloom
