Name: Jack "Ginger" Sawyer
Age: 27 Gender: Male Birthday: Summer, 28th Physical description: He is tall, lean and muscular, with nimble fingers and strikingly gingery-brown hair (hence the nickname). He has a wide, easy smile, slightly pale skin (from lack of sun exposure), light green eyes, a handsome face and a faint five-'o-clock shadow. He wears a beige trenchcoat, black turtleneck and dark pants with many pockets. (Picture of him here... Personality: Ginger, or "Ginge" as he's known by his friends, is a quick-tongued man who always speaks his mind, and his mind stays on its toes. He has a flippant way with words, and a carefree "don't give a damn" spirit; but his nature has been focused over the years to make him always hyper-alert to situations that could spell danger. On entering a room, his eyes will automatically scan his surroundings quickly for self-defense items, hiding spots, dangers and possible escape routes. He is very nonchalant about life, in general, although it vaguely worries him what will happen to him in future when he grows too old to work or hide from cops. Ironically, even though he was a burglar for ten years, he has a genuinely good-natured heart, and believes in good treatment of people. He strongly believes in the "fair go" principal, and helping the underdog; so his morals are basically intact, but it's just that it never entered his mind before that stealing from faceless corporations has any relevance to morality. He's never a violent man, though. Dare-devilrous and foolhardy, maybe, but never vicious. One might say that he has an appetite for adventure but a naivety about life. Likes and dislikes: Funny pictures of animals, chicken cordon bleu, chicken parmigiana, (and pretty much all chicken-related foods,) useful gadgets and devices, and interesting little doodackies or thingamabobs. He particularly loves beer, licorice bullets and cinnamon scrolls. He likes your dog and chickens. He dislikes grape juice, ores, fish, and “pretty stuff”. He also avoids Harris whenever possible. History: Born and bred in the more shadowy suburbs of urban Australia, he has a history of committing felonies since he was old enough to cross the street. He was the joker and crowd-pleaser of the class in school, and has no education higher than high school, having started his pilfering career early. He lived in solitude and burglary for ten years, until finally after the guilt and insecurity of it caught up with him after a chance meeting with a wise friend of his, who persuaded him to give up stealing forever. However, he still refuses to hand himself in, being unable to face the confinement of jail, and came to Mineral Town to start afresh because it was the sort of out-of-the-way place that cops probably wouldn’t look to find him in. Family: None. Other: His two great passions in life are humour and adventure. He'll do anything dangerous and stupid if it's exciting, and if the crowd loves it. He's not a prankster, but he enjoys making witty comments or funny gestures/expressions/impressions to make people laugh. He's extremely good at acting impressions of people. OOC: I demand that this thread come back to life T_T
Spring 11th, Thursday, Year 1 _____________________________ After having lunch with Cliff and walking with him to the winery, Rain said her goodbye and headed back to her farm. She was about to walk to the exit towards the forest before having second thoughts. Maybe she would go see Popuri and Gray. She hadnt talked to them for a while. Rain turned around and walked back up the road, wondering who she go visit first. Popuri or Gray, Gray or Popuri... she just didnt know. As she reached the end of the road, she noticed a blonde girl stalking around the corner and muttering to herself. The girl walked up to the blacksmith and entered the building. Who had that been? Rain had never seen her around here before... 'Hello?' Rain entered the blacksmith and looked around in the gloom hesitantly, blinking a couple of times to get used to the darkness. She saw Saibara look up from the counter and Gray turn around from the furnace he was working with. 'Hey,' he said. Rain smiled at him and replied, 'hey, how's everything been?' 'It's been great. How's the farm?' he replied, taking off his work gloves and walking over to her. 'It's coming along,' Rain said. 'You know this girl, Gray?' Saibara said gruffly. The boy turned to his grandfather and replied, 'yeah, this is Rain. You know, that girl who fell of her horse that I was telling you about.' 'Gray!' Rain said, blushing in embarrassment. Saibara laughed before he said, 'ah yeah, I remember. Nice to meet ya missy.' 'Nice to meet you too,' Rain replied shyly. It was then she noticed the girl standing in the corner of the room, her arms crossed while she watched them talk with a bored expression. 'Ah... I dont believe we've met before,' Rain said, walking forward and holding out her hand. 'Im Rain.' The girl looked at her hand blankly before looking up at her again. 'Nice to know,' she said coolly. ______________________________ Dun dun dun, we finally meet Maddy ------------------- ![]() A Smile so Fake it's Real | Have a read of my story-Wakaranai
