To get lower in the mines, take along bottles of Bodigizer XL. Drink them when you get pooped. Don't hammer on the rocks except when you have to - just hoe the soil looking for the way down. I usually save just before going down a level.

The Winter mine is harder to get far down in than the one by the hot spring - it tends to have more numerous "big" levels which are hard to find the stairs in. I've only been down to about floor 25 in the winter mine.

Figures. I ran into a problem in the Winter Mine. I got two levels below the lake, and then I couldn't find another way down. I busted every rock, tilled every bit of soil... and still nothing.

Finally figured out the problem with the dog. I accidently smacked him with an Axe when I was going after the stray dog. Pup dove in just as I released the button.

Won the cooking festival. Funny thing about it though was that I won it with a chocolate cake given to me during the Winter Thanksgiving.
