Finally got cursed tools. Here's the deal:

You must have ALL your other tools upgraded to Mystrile.

Go to the Winter Mine with plenty of Bodigizer XL. Make your way downstairs.

On Level 19 there is a powerberry. On Level 29 is the cursed fishing rod. On Level 39 is the cursed hoe.

In order to get the cursed items on their floors, I had to break every single stone on the whole floor, and then use my hoe to plow up almost all the ground. I didn't get the hoe until the last 2-3 squares of soil! When I got the fishing rod, about 1/3 of the soil was still untilled. This makes me think that the cursed items have a very small chance of appearing - so small that they might not show up some times. So you will want to save the game on Level 28 before trying to find it. If you totally fail, reload your game and try again.

NOTE: this was very difficult to do. I have the blue powerberry and SIX other powerberries! I also carried 8 doses of Bodigizer XL (the maximum) and by the time I finally uncovered the cursed hoe on level 39, I was almost passing out and blue-skinned with all my Bodigizer gone. Incidentally I did NOT get both cursed tools on the same trip - that would have been totally impossible. I have no idea how I'm going to get the one on level 49.

The cursed tools are black. Do NOT equip them unless you're good and ready - once they're equipped you CANNOT unequip them until you remove the curse (which is hard, and you do it at the church).

These tools are really really good, though they make you get very tired very fast.

so you can only get them in the winter mine witha ll items lv.5? Man I spent like 3 hours tring to get to lv.29 of the all year mine with only black herbs. the only item I need to get to lv.5 is my fishing poll.

The last tool I upgraded was my fishing pole too. I strongly recommend taking along the Bodigizer XL though -- 8 bottles was enough to easily get to level 29.

I have now used my cursed fishing rod enough times that it became a Blessed Fishing Rod so that was nice. I had to use it over 200 times though. Anyway time to start working on my cursed hoe.

I thought the cursed items turned into blessed one after Pastor Carter removed the curse?

here is the way to un curse tools....

Hoe : Have Carter 'bless' the hoe 10 times for 1000 G.

Sickle : Keep it equipped for 10 days straight.

Ax : Use the tool 255 times.

Hammer : Keep it equipped for 10 days straight.

Watering Can: Have Carter 'bless' it 10 times for 1000 G.
Fishing Rod : Use the tool 255 times.

Yeah well I read that too, but when I had Carter bless my hoe 10 times in a row it did NOT become uncursed. I might have to take it on 10 days in a row instead of 10 all at once? I will try that next.

I finally succeeded in getting the cursed fishing pole. Your tip was right on the money, Sandy. Saving at floor #28 before heading down. Had to play it 7 times before I finally unearthed the cursed fishing pole.

I have a question. Do you have to catch 255 fish to change it into a blessed item? Or just make 255 attempts?

I just got all cursed tool. to make the ax blessed you need to use it for 255 times. but using a cursed tool takes out alot of energy

The cursed tools are a challenge to get, especially in one trip!
I can almost understand how someone can just manage getting all the cursed tools on all the levels...

But how in the world do they think you can get down to level 255 for the Teleport Stone!?
Thats like nearly impossible!

I meen its a hella struggle just to get to 59-79 for the rest of the cursed tools...

Getting down the mine can be soo easy if you save on a new floor, find the hole, and then load your saved file and go straight to the hole. It can backfire though, because, I've been a floor with no holes before, and had to go back to the top.

The easiest and fastest way is simple, yet time absorbing
You must have one save file and one EMPTY
Save on the empty one, and if you find a hole, reload, find the hole, and before entering, save it on your REGULAR file along with the extra file. Then you can use the extra file to enter and save when you enter (because places can change when you don't go down.) If there is no hole, you will use your original file to go down, save on the extra file, and search for a hole. This is much overlooked and really works!!

lol.. Its much easier this way, all you gotta do is go down, save, and then you can use up all the energy you want, but note the quickest and easiest way to get to the stairs going down, without using much energy, then you can load and only have to use a small bit of energy. very easy this way, and, the items you will mine up are always the same, for example, if you mine a cursed item, it will be in the exact same spot that you mined it before. So, instead of mining every little spot, you can go down, save, find it, load, then find it again, but its much easier because you know exactly where it is. I got to level 23 this way, before i got 6 things that i was satisfied with, on spring 4
I just started playing this game a few days ago, lol. Is it normal to get like $200,000 when you first start out? Very pain staking work saving and reloading every time i lost the harvest goddess game, but after a while 90 was worth it, and does anyone know what a book is used for?
Oh, and by the way, In festivals that the "time" bar on the bottom goes away, you have infinite energy, so you can just use it 255 times than, Also, if its near water you can fish forever, but i dont believe the percentage goes up at all.
And im curious, does this game last forever? In other games, the game ended after 5 years, please tell me it doesnt end in this game.... If anything was unclear tell me

I don't get it. What are upgrade levels? All I know is that you can change the type of tool it is by certain types of ores. Is each ore a level? What ore do you need after the diamond one? How do you get it to change.......I'm confused. Explain it to me

You start with a basic tool that can only do so much. Your basic watering can can only water one square at a time. Your basic Axe can't cut up a tree stump. Ect, ect. As you use the tool, your experience with that tool will increase. (You can check the level of a tool by going to your Earnings Screen and then paging right (or left) to find the page showing your tools.)

Once your tool has reached 100%, it will change color and a little ore icon will appear under the experience bar. The first level up you can do is Copper. You have two choices at this point. Up-grade it, or wait for it to gain more experience so you can skip a level.

Up-grading at each level is more expensive, but does allow you to use the tool more effectively. A Copper Axe can cut up a tree stump, but it takes 6 hits to do so.

To up-grade a tool you need to take the tool, the appropriate ore (the level to which you have the experience to up-grade it to), and some money. (Usually in 1,000G increments). The time it takes Saibara to up-grade your tool depends on how many levels you want to up-grade it. (Going from basic to Copper will take 1 day, but it will take longer if you skip the Copper grade to go to Silver.)

The levels are:

Basic (You start off with this one.)
Copper
Silver
Gold
Mystrile

Cursed Tools are different. They don't up-grade per say. First you have to dig them up from the Winter mine, and then you have to go through some trials to change them into Blessed Tools.
