Seems like it was a really good book, and she wants to know if you've ever cried while reading a good book. Say yes, and not only will she be happy, she will also give you the book she was reading. (Make sure you have an empty item slot in your rucksack.)

Yellow Heart Event: Mary's House, between 10am-1pm on a Monday. Basil is worried that his daughter is upset and asks if you will go upstairs and talk to her. Agree. Mary isn't upset, she is trying to figure out what the subject of her book should be. If you choose the subject of "working on a farm" she will want to interview you about it. It will be 6pm before you leave, but everyone is happy with your contribution.

Black Heart Event: Leave Saibara's between 10am and 6pm on a Wednesday or Friday. An escaped chicken will race toward you with Popuri in hot pursuit. After capturing the runaway, tell Popuri that you like Chickens. Popuri will be very happy to hear that.

Purple Heart Event: Early one morning, Popuri will stop by your farm looking for a tour. Agree to give her one. You won't be done until 1pm, but Popuri will be happy with you.

Blue Heart Event: Any Season except Summer. Go to Church between 10am-1pm and you will find May, Stu, Popuri, and Pastor Carter. May wants to play house, but Carter is too busy to join in. They ask you to fill in instead. Agree, and the little group will head off for the Hot Springs. Your reward will be some of Popuri's special Mudballs. (Note: You need to have an empty item slot in your large rucksack for this event to occur.)

Yellow Heart Event: Go to the Poulrty Farm between 10am-1pm and you'll find Rick and Popuri arguing... again with a distressed Lillia in the background. When you get asked who you side with, choose Lillia, and the siblings will laugh, and make-up. Everyone is happy with your decision.

Purple Heart Event: Mineral Clinic on a Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday between 9am-7pm. Jeff is sick. The Doctor asks Elli to get some medicine, but she grabs the wrong one. Tell Elli that she is a good nurse, and she will regain her confidence.

Blue Heart Event: Ellen's House on Wednesday between 9am-1pm. Stu isn't thrilled with Elli's cooking and runs off. Go fetch him back, he'll be at the Church. Elli will be happy that you found him and will give you some pressed flowers. (Make sure you have a space open in your rucksack.)

Yellow Heart Event: Mineral Beach on Wednesday between 9am-6pm. Elli will be on the docks wondering if she is doing as good a job with Stu as her mother would have done. Tell her not to worry.

Other Events:

Grandpa's Letter: Ellen's House, on Wednesday between 9am-1pm. A mysterious letter is discovered. Turns out it is From Grandpa. He was too embarrassed to give it to Ellen. Everyone will be happy with the discovery.

Stu's Fever: Ellen's House on Wednesday between 9am-1pm. Stu comes down with a fever. Elli asks you to take him to the Clinic while she goes in search of the doctor. Everyone will be happy with your help.

Blue Heart Event: Doug's Inn between Noon-7pm on Monday or Friday. Ann's sick and Doug doesn't know what to do. Tell him to take her to the clinic. At the clinic, Ann reveals that she ate too much (and tells you what all she ate). Once back at the Inn, Ann gives you her favorite Music Box (it is broken) and apologises for getting you involved in the mess.

Yellow Heart Event: Doug's Inn between 10am-7pm on a Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday. Doug wants to have a little chat with you. Tells you about the trouble he's had raising Ann without her mother, and then asks you if you like Ann. Say "yes" and he'll be happy. Ann finds out and gets embarrased.
