This thread is about the rules for this forum-Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube. These rules apply to other forums as well.

These are only general forum rules for the time being. This should help answer some of your questions and lay some rules down for those who may wish to abuse the board.


I thought this forum needed some rules, so...

General FAQ


1. No flamatory, derogatory, profane or vulgar remarks are aloud on this forum. (this stays true for the rest of the Neoseeker site as well) - any posts that do not comply will be immediately deleted.

2. Any posts that are offensive to other people will also be immediately deleted.

3. This is to be a constructive, and all together productive forum that is meant to help others.

4. NO SPAMMING

5. After a relatively short period of time, (or immediately - based on their content) pointless threads will be deleted.

6. No mentioning/questions about Game Shark Codes, PAL codes, Burning DC games, or any other codes that aren't Sega approved.

7. Do not create threads make for a certain person. If you need to ask a member a question, NeoPM that person.

8. It isn't imperitive, but some Seekers like it if their name in bold letters. To do this, type [*b]MoonDragon[*/b] and it'll come out as MoonDragon when you remove the *'s.

9. ABSOLUTLY NO IMPERSONATING ANYONE BY USING THEIR NAME IN AN UNREGRISTERED POST. THAT POST WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATLY OR SAVED AS EVIDENCE.

10. No Boasting,it will be immediately deleted or edited, unless it's minuscule.


Any members of guests that continuosly abuse these rules will have their screen names and IP numbers reported to the administrators - this can lead to an account ban, and go as far as having you reported to your Internet Service Provider.


If a thread that does not follow the stated rules is spotted, I ask that the person reading it report it, and if the are a level 5 member or higher, send it to the moderation queue

General F.A.Q.

How do I get the icon under my name?
You can either go to the General F.A.Q. for a full tutorial, or you can do this:
Go to Your Bio

Choose a pic there.

It must be 65 x 65 pixels or less.

How do I get a custom title?
You can either go to the for a full tutorial, or you can do this:
Go to Forum Prefs with 50 posts and there'll be a text box labeled: Custom Title. Fill it in, and submit / update.

How do I get a signature?
Login to your Neoseeker Account

Go to your Forum Settings

Fill out the top however you want

How do I remove post counts?
First thing you do is go to Forum Settings. Find the radio button to switch it off, and do so.

Where can I get help?

~Help thread was made for help! Do not make this fourm full of junk threads that says please help or Hellllllllpppppp!!!! You will recive a warning.

~No swearing........Do not swear in threads nor make a thread full of it.

~Please no other kind of junk threads. Such has I like pie! Or my dog has teeth! Or anything else that is not related to this fourm. You will get banned.

~Banning......First a warning. Then Banned. Come Back and do more bad stuff. A longer ban. You keep doing it.....You will get a perment ban.

~ Please do not fight. Fighting is for people who don't know the real way to end it. First I'll erase the post or either leave it there and then bann the people fighting.

~ If you need something to close a float or something like that please put it in the Flot/Closure Thread or PM me.

~Guests. Even if you are a guest you can still get banned. So don't try anything that will get me mad.

~Boys.Girls. Don't scare each other because you are different in the main way. Don't Haras other people.

right-like. visitors are unlikely to read the rules thread. they will likely post a new thread. I reccomend answering their questions, and be nice about it. imagine this:

Please Follow these rules. Looks like someone didn't follow them and I had to do something.

Another rule is to request closure through PMs. Don't put it in the thread. I will have to take harsh measures. Thank you for you support.

Also by the way,what about people who make clans to take revenge on the forum. I have seen this happen in another forum. So we must do something if it happens here.
