I'd have to say a melee from behind. Thats the most annoying and humiliating way of dying. Especially if you had full health. I also hate being killed by the needler or when you get a plasma grenade stuck to you.

A melee to the back is always embarassing, thats definitely the worst way to die in multiplayer. Eitehr that or getting a plasma stuck on you when you don't know it, or thrown on your face, hehe.

In campaign mode the worst way of dying is getting melee'd by an elite. I always feel like such a noob when it happens, but luckily I've found better ways to kill elites then close combat and rarely get killed by the butt of their gun.

By gnomes throwing flaming bottles of whiskey at your Warthog loaded down with grenades.

I think Having a plasma grenade thrown at you Becaus there is almost no way you can stop from being killed.

I would say when you flip your vehicle and it lands on top of you.

Okay, yeah, that is the worst way to die. I was playing Halo on Gamespy the other day and was at Blood Gulch. Me and the other guy were in the middle of the map, and I was using a discarded warthog for cover when he blew the hog up with a grenade. I jumped back before it would land on me or before I was caught in the explosion, but when I ran up to it again to hide behind and tried to reload my pistol, I flipped the hog on accident and it crushed me.

Getting in a vehicle with a frag stuck to it. Or getting backed up over by an enemy in a warthog while you have the flag.

what about your friend shooting a banshee down, and you getting crushed under it, or your friend blowing up your banshee, not knowing you were in it?

Having full health plus an overshield, and getting melee'd to death in the face by a grunt.

I would have to say either gettin hit in the back, having a plasma grenade stuck to you, gettin in a vehicle with a grendade on it, or gettin hit by a vehicle.

Oh there's so very many! (these all actually happened to me)

1. When some idiotic marine rolls a frag grenade right under you as you're duking it out with an elite, trying to save that SOB's life.

2. When flying a banshee, and accidentally scrapping along a wall, which, somehow makes MC fall out, and drop to his doom

3. Lossing your shield, then health, until you're down to one health block, and you're hiding in a corner, hoping and praying to god that no one finds you, when suddenly a plasma rifle fires, and you die before you even see who got you

4. Blasting your way through a swarm of covenant and flood only to find that you have a grenade stuck to your chest, and you have three seconds to enjoy the fact that there's nothing you can do.

I think I'll go cry now...j/k
