No that is definately NOT your friends score. That score isn't even obtainable with the PAL version of PGR which enables infinite jokers after you get all gold on Kudos challenge. The highest NTSC score I've ever heard of so far is mine: 430,000 Kudos.

I haven't played it in awhile, so i have 210,000. There's not much point in getting more than that, since you only need 200,000 to get the F50.

Your friends score is possible because I have beaten it...just. 1001083. Takes a damn lot of work but it is doable.

I played asteroids as a kid and could play for hours on a single quarter, so I'm not going to say it isn't possible... but with 177 races you'd need to average about 5,650 Kudos/race. Sure you can get into 5 digits in the later kudos races, but the earlier races often only have 2 laps. 1 million would be quite an accomplishment.

To whomever has achieved this, please post your individual race scores for your highest and lowest scoring seasons (EG all your scores for the intro level as well as all of the Bonus or Endurance season scores)

My Kudos score is 734,240. The times when you can get alot of kudos is on the endurance races. I got around 16,000-25,000 on all the long courses.

converted Pal score: 926,000

80K Arcade and Quick Race, 423K Kudos Challenge Races

for formulas.

for "1 million - Pal" I'd need to average an additional 510 kudos/race, or another 2,040 in 25% of the races. Possible perhaps, but not sure I can manage it. If I do I'll post the results.

NTSC Total Kudos - 643,111. (eleven jokers still unused)
Rough PAL equiv. - 1,136,000.
Roughly 150,000 in arcade and quick, and 493,000 in Challenge so far.

I might be able to squeeze out another 30-50K in Arcade, and another 10-20K in Kudos. Improvements in quick race won't matter much.

Any better NTSC scores out there?
