In yalls opione how does this game compare to GT3?

It's better in some aspects such as damage and cars (Ferrari!!!), but you can't "upgrade" the cars nor fiddle with the settings.

But it's an impressive game. I like it.

GT3 is alright and all i guess.You may be able to upgrade cars and all that stuff,but project gothams graphics are a lot better,and that is what i am interested in.

I had playstation back in the days, and i was always addicted to the first and second Gran Turismo. Before I got xbox, i play gt3 at my friends, i thought it was great. But now I think Project gotham is better because its gameplay is more fun and more realistic. Plus you can rip your own music while you're driving. But of course Gran Turismo is much more in depth with more cars and upgrade options (power, weight, suspension, body kits, and wheels). I'd say they both have their pros and cons.

I think Gran Turismo 3 is a more fun single player game, because car customization is completely absent in PGR.

PGR is a more fun multiplayer game, since four players can play simultaneously.

GT3 is a more in-depth simulation, while PGR is more of an arcade style racer.

I own a PS2 and GT3. I have to say I like GT3 better. I also Have GT1 and GT2. One thing I like about PGR is the damage. It looks like the gran turismo series will never have this. The graphics look about the same on both, but Gran Turismo has the more realistic feel. If I had an XBox It would be one of the first games I would buy.

Hell yeah! Gran Turismo is a good game. I have that one also. I gotta say the cars in this new game just look awesome.

I have GT3 and have completed it up to about 55% then i got bored as I had all the cars i really wanted (including an F1 car, oh baby) and so lost interest.
I have just bought Project Gotham Racing and haven't played it yet but it looks the bomb.

I have finished Gt3 more then once and it is a great game, but the only downside with PGR is thst it doesn't have enough cars to race with.

I love this game, only had it since yesterday and im already earning new cars and stuff. Thumping soundtrack too, this game totally rocks!!

I think GT3 is better but only by a small margin.

when i heard the price went down for the x-box i went out yesterday and got one and this is one of the first game i got on the x-box. i think they should of made this game similar to tokyo extreme zero one of the best racing game i've ever played. anywaise about which one is better gt3 or project g.r i would have to say project g.r is better.

It's hard to compare the two games. GT3 is more of a simulation with lots of tuning and tweeking options and very boring racing, but PGR has no tuning but very exciting racing. PGR has much better graphics, but it should because the xbox is a more powerful system. If you want gameplay, get PGR, if you want realistic cars, get GT3.
Personally, I hate all the tuning, so I like Project Gotham.

Hell yeah,this is better than GT3,GT3 is so slooow and boring (IMO).
PGR has meaty cars an intuitive kudos system a top multiplayer,lush visuals and a custom soundtrack,
not to mention it is one of THE most fun racing games i have ever played.

PGR has its advantages like graphics and cars. But so does GT3, tuning and a shit load of cars.
It depends on what kind of racing game your into, do you like a game where you can mess with the car? or do you just want a straight shooter? To me theyre both great, but if i had to pick, GT3 is slightly better

Just wait till GT4 comes out, by that time PGR2 maybe out. Speculation has it GT4 already has 500 cars to choose from!
