I can't figure out where it is I need to go to get my deku leaf to last longer in the air. It is still short and I need to know where I can go to make it last longer.
I know there is something you can do, but I can't figure our what it.

Sail east from Outset island and defeat the squid you run into...if you run into it

A fairy will come out of its stomach and grant you more magic power...and enjoy the funny look Link does when it says "You have more magic!"

You will need to complete the Forbidden woods, and obtain the boomerang, before you can get the upgrade.

If you are having trouble with actually getting to the forbidden woods, you must first use the Windwaker to set the wind's direction to blow you to the small island between the Haven and the woods. Once you land there, you need to replenish your magical power by cutting down the grass and picking up the magic jars that fall out. Then, you need to change the Wind's direction again, this time towards the woods, and jump into the cyclone that is circling the small island to gain enough hight to get into the door. Its all a matter of timing at this point.

One more question.
Is there more than one squid in the whole game or after I defeat one is there going to be more?
