Make sure you get the capitalization right, or else it won't work.
On the rope thing, just remember to use the R button to slow down and change direction. After you jump off the first one, the jump to the second one gives you enough speed to jump to the third one immediately. If you fall off, hit both switches again to completely reset stuff. ------------------- | |

I also was able to get the password by talking to the King of the Red Lions. BTW, My question was "What do pirates love more than the sea?" and it was Treasure.

Let's remember that you have to go into the bomb shop before you get on the boat. Sneak around the left side and climb up the vines into a little hole. You'll hear the pirates talking, and they'll say the password you need. Several times. Then you can go onto the boat and give the password. Once you're inside play the rope game:

If you need to find out your password you can also talk to your boat and he will give you heck for not remembering the password and remind you what it is.

My wife and I both play this game seperately and we both had different questions and answers (i had swabbies) I find it strange that they went to the trouble to do that even if you couldn't get in until you "activated" the password by going to the shop first anyway. Go figure...

So far, I've had Schooner and Swabbies. I knew the password was "Swabbies" from the start, but when I tried it, I put "Swabbie" as a non-plural noun. Silly me ^^;;
