~Replay Value~ |
|
I couldn't find a similar thread to this one, so I'm sorry if there is one Flip and Kitta. Anyways, in this thread, discuss any ways you can play the Wind Waker to make it fun after you beat it. We have all decided how quick and easy the game is, so what other things can you do to make it more fun?!

I don't think the game is all that quick and easy to beat, unless you simply stick right to the storyline.
If you try to collect all the figurines for the Nintendo gallery, that can make the game a lot more fun. It also takes a lot of time, and it makes the game not so short anymore -------------------

yeah, Just like in Majora's mask and Ocarina of Time. if you just go story only then you'll have it beat in no time, but to actually complete the game 100% will take you a long time.

I agree with Kitta. I've just now caught up on figurines and still haven't beat it the second time. After finding out that I had missed photo-ops the second time through, I played my first game until I had all the easily accessible photos. Then I beat it and started the second quest again so I could focus on the rare photo opportunities.
But this isn't the "Is this game short and easy?" thread. When I get bored with the normal objectives I like to lay out on the Oasis, go for a swim, and feed my seagulls with All-purpose bait. I wish the crabs would eat it, too. Also, the pit on Outset Island stays full of baddies to slay. If a Bokoblin gets a lucky hit in on you and you think death-by-sword would be too slight a punishment, whack him up-side the head with your boomerang from every which way- his head gets jarred in the appropriate direction and you can do it as many times as you want. I call it the "death-of-a-thousand-boomerangs". ------------------- ![]() town:Buxton name:William

I agree! I depise the dungeons. Whenever I walk out of a door after being in a dungeon for 5 hours, I get so happy to see the bright, blue sky!

Ummm... KekeMonkey... that was an insult to the Legend of Zelda series... why don't you like the dungeons? That's what this games about/besides the great story lines that come along with every single one of the Zelda games... just wanted to know what's up with that... and thanks for thinking my "Best Free Guide..." thread wasn't advertising... Thanks!

no prob for sticking by ya. but if zelda was made solely for dungeons, there would be no outside areas. its just a matter of opinion.

If you only play the dungeon the game gets repetitive and boring. You have to do the side-quests or else after the 3rd or 4th dungeon the game is no fun. But I do think there is a good level of Replay Value in it so far I still have a few figurines to get.

I like side quests more and every time I get to the boss or nearing the end of the dungeon, for some reason I don't fell like playing it. I don't like bosses all too much, just the puzzles. Well, for the dungeons

When I get a litte board I go to windfall and attack the pigs. I then run around the town with them following.

Yeah the pigs are great! You can lose them for a few minutes and start to feel safe, next thing you know you turn around to see a crazed pig still raging after you. Don't mess with the big one on Outset. Just don't.

Yeah, I mess with the big pig on Outset...hehehehe. You see, what I do is pick the pig up, then haul it as high up, the highest place on Outset and then throw it off the cliff and say,"Woah! Look at that thing go!!" Or if I get bored and feel a bit brave I just go get lost out at sea and battle Octos and Gyorghs(however it's spelled), the sharks. I usually must fight to brush up on my skills so I fight Orca or Miniblins, 1 for survival and the other for skills such as evasive, and things like that. So far I've hit Orca 644 times. My fingers went tired and I got bored
