I prefer the good, old Ocarina of Time all the way. It was just a nicer instrument than the Wind Waker, and you could play on it, while you only moved the Wind Waker through the air, waiting for the wind to change. Plus, the Ocarina of Time was useful for many more things than the Wind Waker (teleporting, talking to Saria, etc...), which was used to change the wind's direction.

Well, as I said in my above post, the Ocarina of Time can be used to perform many more things than the Wind Waker.

Things you could do by using the Ocarina of Time:

Travel through time

Teletransport you to different areas in Hyrule

Open special gates, like the entrance to Zora's Domain

Talk to friends (so that means Saria)

Things you could do by using the Wind Waker:

Change the wind's direction

Use a hurricane to get to different islands.

The ocarina would definitely be my choice. I really enjoyed listening to those tunes. In fact, I also own one of those replica Zelda Ocarinas that are carved out of wood, and it really makes such great ensemble sounds.

The Wind Waker was good too, since you could control the winds and such, but its tunes weren't really better. Another thing is that I didn't like the conducting because it seemed weird.

Yes, Wind Waker is an excellent game but I like the ocarina better, basically because you can play lots of cool things on it. I can play the simpsons as well, but if you bother to actually look them up, I found things like mission impossible, frosty the snowman, the titanic theme, etc.etc.

I would prefer the ocarina any day. It has better tunes and fits in better... The whole maestro Link thing never sat well with me.

i would also prefer the ocarina. the ocarina gives much more better sound and songs. while the wind waker really does not give very much as the ocarina does.

ocarina by far man whos idea was it to use a conducters baton in this game well i guess if u think about it it does make sense cause u r telling the wind where to go but i still go with the ocarina it just sounds better

Ocarina is the best. i did not like the Wind Waker baton because it did not make such good sounds as the Ocarina did. since it just controlled the winds.
