I'm really considering getting this game. I never played a Zelda game before. After all videos I seen of this game, it looks pretty good. I want to know is this game challenging and how long is it? Is Windwaker a great adventure game?

It's a great game. But it is a little short. I took it in 5 days

yeah this game is really good! but also you should get Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. They are way better. I think you can get both for Gamecube now. OoT is on the Oot and OoT Master Quest disk, and MM is on the disk that was sold with Gamecube for a limited time about a year ago. They were originally released on N64.

I was really interesting to hear in most reviews that this game has very few to no tedious moments, is that true?

if your used to Zelda puzzles then yes it has pretty easy puzzles, but thats good for beginners right?

I never played a Zelda game before, so I don't know how difficult a Zelda puzzle is.

Heh, some of them are annoying. In Wind Waker, some of them are annoying, too. Maybe it's because this is my first time through.... Zelda puzzles usually require logic. They're usually like activating switches in an order or in a time limit or pushing blocks in specific places. Stuff like that. In WW there's also a light-reflecting puzzle (kind of like in ToS in the Tower of Mana, but you have to break walls and pull statues).

You should definitely get this game. This game is pretty challenging, especially if you are new to Zelda. And yes, Wind Waker is a great adventure game.

As for the tedious moments, there are a few. Like changing the wind direction everytime you sail to a new place. But you will get used to it.

It is an awesome game! It's not very hard, but not too easy. Oh yeah, If you buy this game, buy Ocarina of time too. It helped me understand the events in Windwaker.

Lucky that WW is only for $20. As with what Kalle said, if you want to completely understand the Hyrule/Princess Zelda theme, you should study up a bit (or buy) Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask would help a teeny bit.
