what exactly is kirby? i think they named him after a brand of vacuum cleaner, but i know he's not one. is he a wad of bubble gum?

no he is a vacume sortof,kirby is a living black hole cuase if u watched the show his inards is space,buti dont know were he got the shape probally the makers were somone who wants to make a funny lookin charactore

I had an idea of how Kirby was made:
The creator was having a writer's block and could not think of what Kirby should look like. Just then, he see's pink gum stuck to his shoe. Now, we have a cute little something that swallows things

he was a child friendly butter ball who was made for the kids.

note how kirby is not scarey, a bad example, crude, etc.

he's like the only guy with great games that parents don't worry about letting the kid have.

mabye he's a marshmallow that fell in a bucket of toxic waste, came to life, and turned pink...
