I havent completely played it, but i played through part of it, and yea i must say its 1 of the best RPG's for SNES, right after Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana =)

Star Ocean 1 is different from Star Ocean 3. Alot less control.
It's a good game, but don't start thinking it'll play exactly like Star Ocean 3. -------------------

I have been currently playing Star Ocean 1 on my psp. The game is pretty good. The battle system is nice and wild plus you can have 4 people in a battle unlike SO3 which you can only have 3.

It's ok, But Tales of Phantasia is a lot better (In my opinion). I love the Title song though...

Bah, I love Tales of Phantasia and this game equally. ^o^ The only problem for me is having to level up more than five characters. xP I got the Eye of Truth just now and Fear is level 36 I believe.
