I didn't get into Zelda until a few years ago when I played Adventure of Link and I needed a Game Genie to beat it. Lame, I know.

Then I played Wind Waker, then Majora's Mask, OoT & OoT: MQ, then TP, and somewhere in there, in no specific order, all of the games made for Game Boy and GBA. I still haven't finished a single one of the GBA ones, or the original TLoZ. I tried using a Game Genie for that one, but it broke the cart, and I recently replaced it and made it to level 7. Now I don't have time for games, but I'll finish it at some point.

I never really got into the original. I have it on Animal Crossing, if that counts...

I still have my original NES. I must've been 4 or 5 when we got it. I always sucked at all the games except for Big Bird's Hide and Speak (which was long gone, and I recently bought a copy of it for my nephew). It had spent probably 10 years in the closet. I didn't take it out again until 2003, and it was still doing that "flashing thing" I remembered, but I did a little research and learned the paperclip trick ( http://home.freeuk.net/markk/Consoles/NES_Repairs.txt ), and it works like new now.

Nope. It's awesome. And once the contacts have been bent back and forth so much that they break, you can just buy a new connector for $10 at the most.
