Almost right. It logs your position in one playing. Turning off the system erases that data. You have to keep the system in sleep mode. One power outage.... | |

But it doesn't remove that position when you turn the system off, or even when the system doesn't have any power. It removes the position when you start the game the next time, so it's not like save-states. Anyway, ontopic: I never owned this game as a kid, but I still bought it for my collection a couple of months ago and I can't say that I regret that purchase  It's hard though! I've never finished the second "dungeon" or whatever. | |

this game is a hidden gem. Why have i not heard of it before recently. When i bought ssb brawl, I had no idea where Pit came from. But I found out and decided to get kid icarus on the VC. This game kicks your ass, but it is a masterpiece | |
