I go to where the Magic Sword is, but I step on it like you usually do pick up those types of items, but Link won't pick it up? What's wrong?

That happened to me. I don't think it's just a bad glitch, I think you have to do something, like bring a letter to the man there to get it.

12 to be exact.(The first time I played I didn't know there was a Magic Sword since the White Sword is blue and white I thought it was the Master Sword!)
