I just double checked and finished every mission w/o dieing and still haven't been prompted that I have unlocked that completion bonus?

Can anybody tell me what process they used to get this bonus? Can you get it if you go out of order in missions? Fans I can see, I found more on some missions in EZ mode and I guess I'll find the other half in Normal mode?

Okay, I know it sounds really weird, but i'm happy that you haved asked a question here.

Now, first, as you have already know, to unlock unlimited ammo for the sniper rifle, as well as grenade launcher, rocket launcher, missile launcher, and missle pod, is to obtain in each 12 individual missions a completion without using a continue, i.e. dieing and then selected "continue."

Now, to check to see that this has happen, at the menu, when you select continue (some players have confused between these two continue) option, and you'll be at a menu where you can look at each individual mission, with some info on each mission. One of which is a seal of what most believe to be the seal of Section 9 next to the number of fans destoryed in the mission. If this seal icon is there, that means that you complete that mission without using a continue. If there is at least 1 that does not have it, you will not get the unlimited ammo. After the last mission is completed w/out a continue, it will say you unlock unlimited ammo on the various weapons. Yes, it can be out of order. So, for example, I have completed mission 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12 without continue. I can go back and finish mission 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 in no particular order.

Now, if that you did complete all these mission w/out using a continue, how you get unlimited ammo is that you must select a mission from the continue menu and NOT the New Game option. Since you can destroy the fans, you will also have the "yellow menu" option. This will ask you if you want unlimited ammo during the duration of the game, until you quit. If none of these seem to make sense, find a way to contact me, and i'll try to give a more personal help than a forum.

As for the fan, I hope that you are not following the walkthrough guide posted in this site, as well as many others out there. It is actually not completed because there are 10 fans in each mission, not 3 or 4 as the walkthrough has listed. You can find all 10 fans in each misson on Easy Mode, or any other mode; its just easier to locate and destory them in easier mode. In gameFAQ.com, there is a completed Fan Location FAQ:

That did the trick now all I have to do is hunt down more fans and I'm all set :-)

Actually, there is another one -- unlock the extra harder modes that follow hard mode -- very hard mode, and so on till champion mode. 7 total i believe. To do so, you need a certain amount of points to unlock it, so cheating is out of the question. More info in gamesfaq site.
