I saw the movie of this, is the game just as good?

GITS (Ghost in the shell) has two anime movies, but this game is based off on GITS the anime TV series, it's like an extra episode of the series 1st season.

This game is a standard third person shooter, while it doesn't stand out when compared with lots of games of the same genre on the market, it is pretty fun to play for fans of the original movies or of the anime series.
It actually has a decent story with plot twists and all, so it isn't just a mindless shooter fortunately. The cut-scenes are just beautiful to look at and the voice overs and pretty good.
You will play trough 12 missions, some with Motoko others with Batou and 1 mission with the talking spider shaped tank Tachikoma.
There are lots of unlockables and difficulties settings, but in the end they don't really add that much value to the game.
Multiplayer offers combat for up to 4 players including both team matches and battle royal.
