To wavedash, jump and immediately airdodge sideways and into the ground. It will make you slide along the floor. Practice it with Luigi as he has the worst grip giving him an excellent wavedash. It is definately worth learning. You can even use use smash attacks in the middle of a wavedash(wavesmash) which is vital with Luigi. Try wavedashing then use down on the c-stick with Luigi.
