how do u get better when u have no on to play against? wuts the best way?

You must be new to videogames. There are AI opponents to play against when you can't play against other people. Keep practicing and slowly raising the AI difficulty level from 1-9, and then practice the challenges in the game aswell as some are very challenging.

Play against only level ones. You develop dirty habits otherwise. Practice technical skill on level ones until it makes up for the mindgames you won't develop.

I was going by if he was asking how to become better against the AI opponents, since he said he has no one to play against. Your strategy applies more towards how to become better when you play against human opponents and being able to practice such strategies against AI opponents who won't be a hassle as you work on the moves.

Seriously, they're very good at combos, combo stopping, and intercepting your offensive attempts, especially after you've been playing for awhile with certain characters. They DO learn somewhat based on a system of what works and what doesn't. My coms have become very good about edgeguarding, grabbing, and comboing. *bleep*ing Pichu rapes now if you charge it.

Thing is, they still charge you, so just Fsmash them while standing in place. Azen anyone?

yeah, no point on getting better at playing comps. i heard lvl 3's DI better though so you may want to fight them instead of lvl 1's. or go to training mode, but you can't use the c-stick there, which is gay. basically, just practice tech skills until you have everything down well. then go to tournaments to get owned, but you will learn a few thing there

I knew it that they're getting smarter. I knew because they're getting harder and harder everytime. Fox can even make serious combos now. And most of them can block my moves more than twice as much as before.

I totally agree with that flawless thing. It would be cool if you could moderate those cpus, like more cunning, dodging and less charging. and mode them to attack only if you're wide open. Other cases it would just dodge and block.

Computers like to TGM combo.

I think they do, actually... but more than that, they can calculate your path precisely and all that, so the Pichu is going to d/u throw you into a Nair. =( Or Fthow chain, whatevs.

Lightning mode=BAD TRAINING METHOD.Especially if you are going to tourneys.

Yeah, fighting level 9's is worthless. Humans don't play like that...much. Just go to training or battle level 1-4 cpu's. You gotta have someone that can play with you, like have a friend come over and try it I guess. This game is lovable to all
