I used to play this game everyday. Tried everything. Never got Tartan... Is this a glitch?? Or Am I doing something wrong?

What all did you try? From what I remember, from the third chapter and beyond (also heard something about it being Fall to increase your chances), enter Takakura's house right after he goes inside. I was able to trigger this cut-scene on multiple files, one in Fall of the second year of the third chapter.
