If ya can't get online and you use PAL Or US version you are screwed when it comes to good quests.

Ok, here's my problem now:

I still cannot take ANY damage off ANY enemies in the Mines. All I find are Victor Axes, Angry Fists, and Ancient Sabers--you know, weapons that mean NOTHING to my character. I've only found 3 Red Handguns after playing Ultimate Forest about 100 times. I've never found any Red Mechguns in the caves after playing Ultimate caves about 50 times. I can almost pass the Ultimate Mines using nothing but traps, but then can't get past that big thing that shoots missiles (Garantz or whatever) because traps don't affect it. So I'm stuck until I can get another few million exp, or my stingy assed game gives up a Special Weapon that is actually useful.

I realize that this is an online game and since I can't get online then I'm only playing half the game. But, to devote so many hours and come this far only to get stuck like this is REALLY frustrating.

Am I doing anything wrong???

and another question:

Are there a set number of rares on each disc, or is the game programmed to be completely random? The reason I ask is because I found lots of rares when I first got to Ultimate mode, then found less and less, and now I'm just not finding ANY!

Ohh EXP is the problem with Mines. And the fact you are using an android does not help. You are just going to have to keep going over Forest and Caves until you get stronger. Red Mechguns have a lower attack rating so they would not help you out if you take off 0HP with Red Handgun. You may have to try to use a Red Saber since it has a higher attack rating but brings you to close quarters which is not good for a ranger. hope this helps a little.

Hmm with Soul Slasher my HUcast I was down to Traps, Red Handgun, and Red Saber but I made it. I would suggest getting some more Levels or Power in Caves and Forest also try lookin for a Red Handgun with Mines %.

Remember Barbles are cool but they have RED HANDGUNS^_^

Today I experimented with the method I found on that other site. As of now, it seems to work. I started the game, went to Ultimate Forest 1, found nothing, then restarted the game once I got to UF 2. This time I found a whole bunch of Red Handguns and other Special Weapons...about 7 in all, one after the other. Didn't find any with Machine % but I did find one with 15% Dark.

Next time I restarted the game I noticed that most of the Bartles and boxes which usually dropped Special Weapons now contained Clubs of Laconium (I found about 10 Clubs of L in a row). Next restart, they all had Visk guns, Varistas, or DB's Sabers. Next restart, nothing even worth picking up to sell.

This method, like the other site said, needs more testing but it looks promising. Thursday I'm off from work and school so I'll play PSO V.2 all day!

Another thing is if you keep going into the UF you'll notice the different Weapon scenarios that there is where certain weapons will be dropped and won't be.


I have 3

RED HANDGUNS- not very many commons

RED SABERS- not many RHs but more commons

Then to sub catergorys

Parasite Wear go with either main

Victor Axes never around with Parasite but there with other main catergorys.


Also the not find anything but a super rare scenario (Very Rarely Happens) have had it only happen 3 times. Once found Heaven Punisher Ver.1 online at DF. Another time found my Red Sword AND another was a false alert.

I've heard this theory of "cycles" before but never really paid much attention to it. But it does seem to hold true in some areas, I need to do some reaserch myself...

Hate to burst your bubble but if you find ancient sabers you won't find and red sabers. Every ID finds one or the other. So the only way to get a red saber(Red saber are in fact better than Ancient sabers IMO) would be to get one from a person online.

No WONDER I haven't found any red sabers!

But I did finally make it to ultimate ruins. If I can find anything that takes damage off UR monsters, I'll let you know...(but I'm not bitter!)

Everyone look out! a PKer, NOLer, CKer, and bsod'er is on pso! his name is "iwillbombyou" but it has all these weird caps and all. he killed: Ace, a lvl 127 RAmar and Ripper,A lvl 39 RAmar. he runs around saying USA! and then he kills you. if anyone sees him, run away! he got me twice, and pulling your memory card out does'nt help matters. dammit!

yo i went through vhard mines with some pals and found an average of 2 rares per room! a lot of db's sabers and varistas, but some good ones too. in all, i found over 30 rares!
