No, Sealed J-Sword is only for Male Hunters and Rangers. No Codebreaker thing or anything. If anybody's wondering about the other J-Sword, the Tsumikiri J-Sword, it's also Males only, but it's banned. ------------------- If I don't care about your stupid signature, then you'll ignore my stupid signature. | |

For partisans you could of also mentioned the red one, the S rank partisan & scythe, imperial pick, and chameleon scythe. There's prob more, but don't know of every weap in the game yet. Swords and partisans are different. Attack pattern, attack speed, the way they're carried, and their lengths are diff. Usually, swords deal more damage and partisans have more ata. Swords were my weapon of choice in v1... Sorry about my complaining, just really dissapointed that there's a very limited selection of swords in v2 (well ones that look like swords and <not have gender reqs>). Sorry 'bout that, was gunna change it when I got home... was just in a foul mood, first stag cutlery, now swords too... Pso was the first game I used a fighter class in (more then a day anyways). In other games, fighters usually just depended on their high hp, def, and str to get by and had little strat to them (Ie diablo). I first picked a hunter because a friend recommended one, didn't think too much of them until I found a sword. Instantly became addicted to the game after. This was a fighter class who didn't have insane stats (at the time) and depended more on timing your hits depending on enemy attack patterns (Ie. Delsabers. When they are a certain distance from you, they'll normally try to block your attack. So simply open with a weak hit and charge up a strong hit, by the time it's charged, he'd begin to drop his shield and he'd instantly regret it. Follow up with another strong hit to stagger him to reset his attack pattern and repeat till desired effect). Now playing v2 (week 3) and found 0 swords... many weapons that came up when talking to other players, resulted in dissappointment (because a lot of people can't seem to tell swords from sabers/pikes, or the weapon would have some stupid requirement). Besides gameplay strats, I just like the way they look, one small way to customize a character's appearance (just came from anarchy online, at high levels, everyone looks 1 of 4 ways do to equiping. Any character design you had gets covered by the best coat/tank armor and helmet). So with dumb requirements and appearance, it leaves only two options (that I know of). The red sword (ran through caves countless times) and the S rank sword. %'s seem to be a must have in ruins, so I guess that leaves only the red sword... Well, enough ranting. Actually 2 of my other friends came with me back to PSO from AO. One friend would drop every 10 minutes because AO would conflict with her isp (which no other game had problems with it and AO was fine till a certain patch ... they never fixed it). And of course, got boring when at high levels, everyone looked the same. Same helmet, same cloak/armor and had the same weapons. In that game you placed your stat points where ever you wanted (letting you use different weapons and armor), but only a couple ways actually let you progress in the game. On top of that, you wouldn't start to choke because of your stat placement until mid game, so it'd take a couple weeks of play before you realize your work was in vain... Okay, enough ranting. Speedsk8er, the easiest way to get going in v2 is to do the ultimate forest a couple times. Eventually you'll find red handgun or red saber. As for the red sword, in THEORY, they're dropped in ultimate caves by crimson assassins (though I've been hunting for a red sword for 3 weeks :b, no luck yet... prob need a skylee ). For the red partisan, I've never heard of anyone getting one legit, though an easier partisan to get (more ata too) is the imperial pick (they're dropped by everything and anything in ult ruins 1-3). Start saving your grinders, the red weapons can grind to +90 (imperial pick only +20, but easily countered by good %'s). If you're still having no luck finding a red handgun or saber, I'd gladly give you one if you wanna set up a time. I find those things everytime I do a forest run, so it'd only take a few mins to get one... as for the picks, I can get atleast one everytime I do a ruins run (1-3), but that takes me a lot longer to do... quote psomasterlv100Heh, could be... Mamak lists them as dropped by Arans and PSO world lists them as ruins 2 whitill ID. Never noticed any one enemy dropping it, just found a lot of them. I only know what ever drops them turns in to a purple puddle... Stopped counting past 15, but found well over 30 of them (though not many with decent positive %'s :b ). So I'll safely say, they can be dropped by killing some enemy that can be found ruins 1-3. | |
