hello, I am considering buying Silent Hill 2 since I like the first Silent Hill. However, that title was already very nasty graphically and I am worried about Silent Hill 2 being even nastier. Can you tell me how the graphiccal disturbingness of this game compares to the first Silent Hill? are there any sexual things in it? please advise.

SH2 is pretty nasty. Not in terms of gore or blatant sexual images, but in terms of a horrifiying experiance created by the atmosphere. But be aware there are sexual overtones in several parts where the zombies seem to be molesting each other. Yes, it's disturbing. The shots are quick and the images can be vauge (and if you acctually see what's goin on, it's not zombie sex) but it gives the impression that something of that nature is happening. Silent Hill 2 is definately more "sick" than the first one, but I think the worse thing is having to listen to Eddie puking for 2 miniutes...

NO WAY! well... some parts are. but it just adds to the game! well at least you're not like me, screaming when those creepy things go crawling on the ground... it's fun, scary, and don't play it at night when family members can scare you for the hell of it!

Personally, I felt the original was more nasty than the second. The original focused more on gore and blood to invoke fear than the second did, which tried for a more mature scare. Don't think it's a kiddy romp, it's not, there's a scene in the prison area where dead bodies are lined up to be pushed into a hole (to name one), but if you were okay with the first the second will be fine.

i felt the graphics made you feel like a real off the map town and the monsters made me think they can come from hell itself, truth is i think this is one of the best games in the world if you can play it with a open mind

I agree, but what I dont understand is why you dont all join here? If your not gonna join then seriously dont make threads, you dont deserve the privilage and should be cut up and fed to dogs.
