As I already mentioned in the introductions thread, my favorite feature in this game is the create-a-character option.
Now, if I were to buy another wrestling game, I would want it to have this feature as well.
So, any recommendations on WWF titles that have the best variety of character parts/clothing/misc?

As far as the Smackdown series goes, for me, the best ones are Shut Your Mouth and Smackdown vs Raw 2006. Have yet to try 2008, though. Wasn't very impressed with 2007. Got to create more interesting characters in Shut Your Mouth, which included Spider-man with his very own entrance, complete with signature web swinging. Man, I miss that intro animation.

Smackdown:Shut Your Mouth had amazing create-a-wrestler mode. to this day it is my favourite in all of the wrestling games I've played.

Now, does it have the same variety of skin colors?
And what about head extras, like horns and bat wings and whatnot?

skin color can be adjusted manually in SYM. anyway yeah , you can make lots of different skins.

and yeah, there is a decent amount of head (and face) accessories.

Sweet, that's what I wanted to hear.
I think if it weren't for create-a-wrestler mode, I probably actually wouldn't be interested in these games.
It's nothing against wrestling at all, it's just that I'm the kind of person who gets bored with regular old humans unless I can modify their appearance to be freaky somehow, or they're thrown in some sort of zombie apocalypse situation, which is why I also don't like most war or sports games.
